I specialise in treating anxiety, post-traumatic stress, peri menopause and menopause and any of the associated emotional and physical stresses that accompany these issues such as emotional eating, pain, insomnia, confidence and self-esteem.

After 25 years in the health care industry as a therapist (OT) I trained in Hypnotherapy and neuro linguistic programming (N.L.P) in 2005; where I really gain an in-depth understanding of the workings of the mind and the impact on our physical well-being. Not to mention the relaxing but rapid and positive impact hypnotherapy had. Having also suffered from the effects of excruciating pain and fatigue due to a diagnosis of Endometriosis I found Hypnotherapy to have been life changing for me and was the fundamental reason for training in this area.

My love for Hypnotherapy, the workings of the mind has grown into a rewarding career where I can do the two things I love most: which are helping others to be the best versions of themselves where they can be by overcoming issues that have been holding them back as well me continuing to learn and development my own techniques in this fascinating area.

I have never been someone despite a background in the medical field of using medicine as my first port of call. I have used been interested in complementary and alternative therapy mainly as these have very little if any side effects to our minds and bodies. Having worked with so many people over the years and having been witness to the incredible benefits that hypnotherapy has in particular with anxiety, stress and P.T.S.D in conjunction with being able to make positive and rapid life changing results in people’s lives. There is really very little available to people to help with these issues and unfortunately what is available can often be a plaster over the issue or a very long wait. Especially having gone through an international pandemic people have experienced extreme levels of stress, anxiety and is often undetected as trauma.

In addition, what I have also learnt about my own health, the negative impact that stress and anxiety has had on my own well-being and in particular with hormonal changes. This is why I know that relaxation and hypnotherapy are such powerful tools in brining balance to our hormonal system and our own mental well-being.

Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.

People who use this technique believe tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain. Similar to acupuncture, EFT focuses on the meridian points — or energy hot spots — to restore balance to your body’s energy. It’s believed that restoring this energy balance can relieve symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused
